Wyoming Rapid Response Fund

Dear Community Referral Partners,

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your invaluable contributions to the support of our neighbors in times of need over the past 16 years. Through your tireless efforts, VOA Northern Rockies has been blessed to distribute nearly $3 million through the Wyoming Rapid Response Program. Your unwavering commitment to connecting those in need with these resources has had a profound and positive impact on countless lives.

The Wyoming Rapid Response Fund was established through a collaborative partnership with a regional foundation to address the urgent needs of Wyoming residents. The fund’s primary objective was to provide one-time emergency assistance to individuals who have experienced financial hardship due to the following circumstances:

* Loss of home
* Eviction prevention
* Domestic abuse
* Healthcare emergencies
* Home repairs
* Funeral expenses

The program’s goal was to mitigate the potential for long-term crises arising from financial setbacks. VOA Northern Rockies has collaborated closely with law enforcement agencies, congregations, and numerous human service organizations to identify individuals in need of assistance. For the past 16 years, VOA Northern Rockies has served all counties in Wyoming as the administrator of the Wyoming Rapid Response Fund.

Effective December 31, 2024, the regional foundation has made the decision to discontinue funding for the program in its current form. They are currently exploring alternative arrangements for the program’s future, but VOA Northern Rockies will no longer be responsible for distributing funds.

Regrettably, we are unable to provide further updates at this time. However, we have shared our list of past referral partners with the foundation, enabling them to reach out if and when funds become available through a new system.
