The Life House is a residential treatment center that offers substance abuse treatment to men. While at The Life House, clients are involved in various therapeutic, recreational and community, recovery-oriented activities. Each client is assigned a clinician upon admission and given a thorough intake interview. Then an individualized treatment plan is developed. Clients engage in weekly one-to-one counseling sessions in addition to a multitude of group activities which focus on: chemical dependency, sharing life stories, parenting, trauma recovery concepts, grief and loss, healthy relationships, recreation, vocational skills, social skills, and daily living skills.

What to Expect:

During treatment, men receive 30 hours per week of intensive, structured, staff-facilitated group activities, which focus on all aspects of chemical dependency. We also provide the opportunity for GED preparation.

The Life House provides the following community living components: daily schedule of activities, weekly community meetings, participation in activities that would be found in a home, adequate space for personal privacy and security of property, home-like and comfortable setting, availability for placing/hanging personal possessions/decorations and daily access to nutritious meals and snacks. Appropriate space is available for quiet areas and visiting areas. Funding provided by Wyoming Department of Health Behavioral Health Division.
